The last few days I have been focused on my website, newsletters, and critiques, which has been very good for a high dose of hands-on learning. I’ve figured out how to schedule posts and newsletters, set up a contact page, categories on a website, and even learned about new privacy laws, at least, they are new to me.

It has been a great time for the more organized and critical-thinking part of my brain. While this has been fun to learn, I’m beginning to miss working on my book. Hopefully, within the next few days, I will be able to reread the few chapters before I left off, and can pick back up. It was just getting to the good part too, grumpy men on a pirate ship. It’s time to get creative with some non-vulgar insults, or perhaps I will have the older men feel the need to prove they are not old and decrepit. The possibilities are endless, but whatever happens, I’m almost sure the love interest will either outdo them, walk-in on the most embarrassing moment of the conversation, or catch them in the middle of a prank. I’d like to see them explain why they were dyeing the clothing pink.

I’ve also been working on a collaborative post for a friend’s website. She has a new section coming out shortly, and I am excited to announce the post very soon, so stay tuned.

Another update is that I finally got some comments! Ok, maybe I’m the only one excited about that, but four days after launching, I got a whole two comments. I am beyond pleased to get them. Alright, so people are not flocking to my website in droves, but I’m OK with that. I know I have my close online community backing me, and that means the world to me. Thank you all. You will never know what a blessing you are.
