Has it really been over a week since my last post? That just seems crazy, but not quite as crazy as the weather here. First ice, then almost a foot of snow. Last week the temperature was -15 F tomorrow 70! I think the weather had a mood swing, or maybe a hot flash.
In other news, my editing comments are down from 350+ to 250+. I know this is progress, but some days it feels like it will never end. It’s hard to feel as if I made any progress, but I know I will get there.
I had a serious struggle with imposter syndrome. The words “you’re too stupid for this” circled my mind like a shark taking bites out of my confidence all week.
What’s more, a dear friend of mine that does website design showed me that logo I picked out for my website would not work. I’m starting to feel very discouraged about this. I’ve had a hard time settling for anything, and when I find one that I really like, I can’t use it, so back to the drawing board.
In good news, I have picked a slogan! I hope to reveal it when I release my new logo. A double prize if you will. Of course, that will be when I find a logo, but I refuse to give up hope on it, no matter how I “feel.”
